Spain marked in green

Spain is a little country in SouthWestern Europe.

One of the best ways to travel to Spain is by plane, it has one of the biggest airports in the world : Madrid - Barajas and it has recently openend a new terminal as big as the old airport, doubling its capacity.

It has airports on every big city like Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, so if you are nor from Europe you can easily find fligths to any place in Spain any time in the year.

If you are from Europe , you can arrive to Spain with your own car througth the Pirineans, coming from France.

But from the south there is a very interesting place: Strait of gibraltar:
The Straits of Gibraltar is a natural barrier between two countries: Spain and Morocco; between two continents: Europe and Africa; between two seas: the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean; between two religions: the Christian and the Muslim; between two cultures: western and the Eastern one. Even geologically, the Straits represents the fissure of the two tectonic plates: the plate of Eurasia and the African plate. The depth in the middle of the Straits is of 1,400 meters. Nowhere in the world exist so many diferences a so short distance.

There are two Spanish cities in Africa: Ceuta and Melilla, and there are ships to cross the strait, you can get your car in the ships with you.

If you are from the European community, you can move without problems among the european countries, but if you are from any other country, you will need to get a Visa.
