The Valencia Cathedral has supposedly been the home of the Holy Grail, or the chalice that Jesus used at the Last Supper, for the past 500 years.
This cathedral stands at the Plaza Zaragoza together with the Miguelete, and unfinished Gothic tower that is 47 meters in height. This tower dates back to the 14 th century and is well worth climbing to get a great view of the city.

Las Fallas or Fallas festival in Valencia
It boasts of a week long party with fireworks and bonfires.
This festival takes place every year during the week of March 15 to 19.
The population of Valencia explodes to over two million during this festival as Spaniards and foreigners gather to enjoy the festivities.
The “Fallas” are huge papier maché caricatures that are built throughout the year and then displayed in the main city squares of the city for five days.
On the night of March 19, these paper mache figures are burnt and turn the city into a blaze of noise and fire.
